Safire pranced around in the clearing, her delicate dagger's not even seeming to tuch the earth.A beautiful melody echosed through the valley
The earth adorned in verdant robe Sends praises upward surging, While soft winds breathe on fragrant flow'rs From winter now emerging. The sunshine bright gives warmth and light To budding blossoms tender, Proclaiming summer splendor.
From out the wood, the birds now sing And each its song now raises, To join with all the universe In voicing thankful praises. With hope and joy their songs employ
Her song ended and she waited.

Chestnut stallion paraded onto the land of Desperate Whinnies. He noticed a mare standing alone and as he drew closer his orbs diiscovered that it was not a familiar sight for him. Stopping a polite distance from her, Finest pawed the ground and nickered a respectful greeting.
Good morning, lady. I hope you feel well today.
He frowned, surprised at himself. He never spoke in such a polite manner to anybody. Slightly worried at himself, he waited politely for a few moments before continuing.
My name is Finest. May I enquire to your calling?

Her liquids studied the stag before her.Her gaze softened and she snorted welcomely.
It is a pleasure meeting you Finest.
She said, her voice trailing in the wind as a playful leaf.
My calling is Safire.
She said.Once again her voice traveled with the speeding wind that blew through her banner.

He nodded.
~That is a lovely name~
A frown suddenly appeared on his face as he took a few steps forward.
~What are you doing all on your own, Safire~

Safire drew in a breath. She had not been in the precense of a stag for long and his movement toward her startled her.
I am here to find someone who might allow me to join there herd.
she said in a almost shaky voice. She didn't take her eyes off of him.

He stared at her in surprise. You mean to say you do not have a mate?Shaking his head from side to side to rid himself of a fly, he dipped his head courteously in her direction. If this is the case, then would you do me the honour of joining me at my herd in Diamond Lake? And if you do not have a stallion who can lay claim to you as a mate, I am looking for a lady. If, once again, you would do me the honour.OOC//yup I know, total dog-doo, but my muse has just taken its coat and done a runner on me. Sorry.

Her bodice relaxed and her breathing came in calm winds. She gazed at him.She pondered silently over her dicision, thinking of everything. Her gaze finaly moved from him to the landscape beyond. Was she ready for this decision.
Even though the wind blew, all semmed unusualy quiet. At last a single word drifted into the soft summer breeze.
ovecourse...
Safire smiled.

Smiling delightfully at her, his daggers scraped the ground slightly as he turned to face the direction of his homeland and gestured for her to follow him.
